Chronicle your Career highlights NOW

November 29th, 2009

8GB cruzer

8GB Sandisk Cruzer

The other day, I received an email requesting me to download some files for a special presentation.  I figured there would be no problem.  I could copy the files to my trusty 128MB flash drive and be done with it.  Unfortunately, the combined sizes  of the 2 videos reached 163MB.  Needless to say, my poor flash drive was not up to the task.  It stopped halfway through the file transfer.  I had to find another solution.  Did I mention this happened on Black Friday?  » Read more: USB flash drives are getting really affordable

The invisible resumé

November 23rd, 2009

I just purchased an Insignia NS-WBRDVD Connected Blu-Ray Disc Player on Nov. 23rd, 2009.  Why didn’t I wait until Black Friday?  As, I had suggested in yesterday’s post “Christmas Shopping starting early this year” I plan to spend some quality time with my wife on Friday morning.  While we were in Best Buy, we decided to look at the Blu-Ray Disc Player offerings.  It was a difficult choice, » Read more: Review: Insignia NS-WBRDVD Connected Blu-Ray Disc Player

Macro Photo Studio 1.1.1

November 21st, 2009

A while ago I posted ”Macro Photo Studio 1.1“  I mentioned some modifications I wanted to make for Revision 1.2 of Macro Photo Studio.  The main issue I was experiencing was a brownish hue showing up in pictures taken with the Macro Photo Studio.  It turns out, it was the reflection off the cardboard.   » Read more: Macro Photo Studio 1.1.1
