My grandfather was a backyard farmer. I have fond memories of seeing him work in his garden and eating fresh fruits and vegetables. My favorite was strawberries. It seems like everytime we visited their house, they always had strawberries on hand.
Last year we planted some strawberry plants in a strawberry pot. This year, we noticed they’ve started to take over the planter area. They’re migrating to areas we never intended for them to be.
I’ve decided to transplant these wayward plants into a strawberry patch designed for them to thrive in. Let’s see if we can recreate what my grandfather did so many years ago.
Till next time, I’m dreaming of strawberry shortcake 🙂
